The X. Festival 2022 organised by the Digital Tourism Think Tank brings together the tourism industry for a 3 daylong event to facilitate strategies and innovative knowledge sharing in a collaborative and open spaced, digital venue.
The 2022 European Capitals of Smart Tourism, Bordeaux and València along with the 2022 European Destination of Excellence Middelfart represent the forefront of innovative tourism practices in Europe and as such as best placed to engage with the tourism industry on why the future of tourism is smart.
This highly dedicated panel highlighted the necessity for becoming smart as a cornerstone for the evolution of the tourism industry in Europe and the world and showcased some best practices to help facilitate and showcase smart transformation processes in their cities and destination.
